The staff was OUTSTANDING and went above and beyond. The nurses & midwives made me feel supported and cared for, respected my birth preferences and did a TON of comfort measures to help make labor & delivery as comfortable as possible (including massages, position changes, helping me use a birth ball & peanut ball, guided pushing when I requested). My labor, from start to finish, was 5 hours, and I can say it was a positive, loving & intense experience. I felt like the staff wasn't pushing interventions and was patient in explaining things to me.
My midwives were: Natalie Jacobson-Dunlop & Andrea King. What a difference it makes to have people in the room who are on your side, positive, encouraging and respectful. My labor nurses were: Brittany & Mary (the BEST).
Postpartum care was also excellent, with helpful lactation consultants, nurses & pediatricians coming in frequently to provide support & coaching around newborn care (which we 100% needed as first time parents).
I cannot imagine a better labor, delivery & postpartum hospital. If I could give it 10 stars out of 5, I would!
Our son needed to go to the NICU after he was born and the staff was amazing. Every nurse and every provider was great, and super helpful. They genuinely care and it shows. He received awesome care the whole time, they also make sure you as the parent are taken care of as well. Would definitely recommend.
I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. My son is seen regularly by Dr. Mahmud in rheumatology and he alone is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience.
We just learned about the End Zone and playground today though and I'm so bummed we didn't know about it sooner! I have such a new respect for Kyle Rudolph and the Vikings after having these two places available for us on doctor days.
Every single person we've encountered within this hospital has been so kind and helpful. It's the only hospital we go to that has such a welcoming staff.
I always feel so drained after appointments and blood tests, but these two finds today will make that process easier for all of us.
5-star for Maggie! The nurse at Pediatric dept on 4th floor. Very caring, sweet, and helpful. She made us feel better despite the circumstances that we're in. She is an asset to this hospital and deserves an award!
This place is disappointing and extremely humiliating, for Hispanics and Latinos, the staff in charge of answering the phones are responsible for the image of this institution and they all stand out for their lack of education, for being rude, intolerant and disrespectful, especially With Spanish speakers or Latinas showing their contempt, they always show their contempt and discrimination by closing your call, or they transfer you to other departments or tell you that they don't have appointments available, when you finally get them to listen to you and explain why you want the appointment, they begin with a series of irrelevant questions, not to help or provide useful information, no, no, no, these are very far from the objective for which they were used, they condition, judge, execute and it is in their hands whether you can or not be treated at this hospital: If you are white or not, if you were born here, your address, what religion do you belong to,? What gender are you? How long have you been living here? Your S.S. number? your last address,? What tribe do you belong to and the name? You are not calling the Immigration offices, it is a. HOSPITAL for medical care for CHILDREN, and remember that these people are the image and the first impression that you will have of how you will really be treated here, the despotism and discrimination that you suffer from the staff of this Institution is impressive, you get confused, I called the Hospital or the Police. I just wanted a doctor's appointment for my son. Hispanics and Latinos are not welcome in this place. I do not recommend at all that my Latina race approaches or seeks medical assistance on this site, it is HORRIFYING.
Had a really good experience here for my baby. Doctors, nurses, speech pathologists… literally everyone. CNA Alejandra as well. Also want to say huge thanks to Shelly lactation specialist. Thank you to everyone for helping me care for my baby!!! 🫶🏼 …
My daughter was sent down here on a 3 day stay due to being underweight & possible liver/bone issues. They did all the scans for her & were very clear with explaining to me what she needed before they did them. The nurses were phenomenal. They helped myself & her with anything we needed. Our stay ended up being extended to an entire week. We met 5 different doctors, the pediatrician was my favorite, but they were all really great with her. Thank you for the quality care!
This hospital did a stellar job of treating my newborn granddaughter! I am so incredibly grateful. They also related to her parents in a very caring, professional manner.
